Market intelligence: the asset before the first bag.

Most suppliers ask which coffee you want. We start with your market. The research method behind that answer is a strategic asset we put into every program — the documented view of what your segment pays, which format it buys and who comes back for more. It is part of the program from the first brief, not a paid extra.

That asset turns your first order from an educated guess into a documented decision: the right product for your customer, the right format for your ticket, the right price for your margin — agreed before the first sample, not after the first failed launch.

A brief example of our capability. Your Market Guide is built around your segment, not recycled from another brand’s study.

Decide with evidence, not intuition

Origin, format and price are validated against your market before production — never against a stock list.

De-risk the first order

Your launch is designed to validate before it scales — you learn fast and fail cheap, not the other way around.

Protect your margin

Pricing is positioned against what your segment pays and your landed cost, not generic benchmarks.

The 48-hour promise

Your Market Guide is delivered within 48 hours of your brief. While others quote, you have the market mapped.

Two ways to build your coffee line

Program 01 — For brands with a U.S. packing operation

Bulk Roasted Whole Bean

Keep the coffee whole until you’re ready to pack.

Import roasted Ecuadorian coffee in 5 kg vacuum bricks. Keep the product in whole-bean format through transit and storage, then grind and pack it in the United States according to your production schedule. This model gives your operation more control over final grinding, retail formats, inventory release and the timing of customer shipments.

  • 100 kg minimum order
  • 250 kg standard commercial order
  • 5 kg vacuum-packed whole-bean bricks
  • Single-origin and custom blend options
  • Custom roast profile development
  • U.S. grinding and packing by your operation or co-packer
  • Air freight coordination to your U.S. warehouse
  • Market Guide included in every program brief

Best for: brands with their own packing center or a U.S. co-packing partner.

Program 02 — For brands that want finished retail coffee

Private Label Coffee

Your brand. Your packaging. Our production in Ecuador.

We develop, roast and pack your coffee in Ecuador using your approved product specifications and artwork. Choose a single-origin coffee or develop a custom blend, then receive finished retail bags ready for import and distribution in the United States.

  • 500 kg minimum order per SKU
  • Custom printed retail bags
  • 8 oz, 12 oz and 1 lb formats
  • Whole-bean or ground coffee
  • Single-origin and custom blend options
  • Roast profile development and sample approval

Program 01 Deep Dive

Roast at origin. Pack when you’re ready.

Bulk Roasted is designed for brands that want the flexibility of destination packing without operating their own roastery. We supply roasted Ecuadorian coffee in 5 kg vacuum bricks. Your U.S. operation can keep the coffee whole during transit and storage, then grind and pack it according to demand, retail format and production schedule.

Whole-bean coffee has less exposed surface area than ground coffee. Keeping the product whole through storage helps your operation manage grinding and final packaging closer to the point of distribution — while the Market Guide tells you which retail formats deserve the first grinding runs.

Built for destination packing

  • Manage multiple retail formats from one bulk product.
  • Grind for different preparation methods.
  • Release inventory progressively.
  • Control final packaging in the United States.
  • Test demand before committing to multiple finished retail SKUs.
  • Work with your own packing center or U.S. co-packer.

Why keep the coffee whole?

The operating advantage is control over when the coffee is ground and packed, closer to the point of distribution. Shelf life is confirmed in the technical specification for each product and is never presented as a blanket freshness guarantee.

Storage

Store unopened bricks in a cool, dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight, heat and strong odors. Final storage instructions are confirmed in the technical specification for each product.

Program 02 Deep Dive

Private label without the roastery.

Private label should be more than putting a logo on a generic bag. It starts with the coffee, the target customer and the product your brand wants to own. You provide the final approved packaging artwork. We help develop the coffee program, roast the product and pack it in your branded retail bags in Ecuador. The finished coffee is prepared for import and distribution under your brand.

Why produce at origin

Put your investment into the brand, not the roastery.

Avoid heavy upfront infrastructure

Build a repeatable product

Use a defined roast profile or blend direction, validated against market data, as the foundation for a coffee your customers can recognize and reorder.

Your name, packaging, positioning and customer experience remain under your control. Cafesure is the production and export partner behind the product.

Questions from brands launching roasted coffee

01What is the difference between Bulk Roasted and Private Label?
Bulk Roasted is delivered in 5 kg vacuum bricks for your U.S. packing operation. Private Label is delivered in custom printed retail bags with your approved branding. Both run on the same Ecuadorian Arabica platform — the difference is how much of the value chain you want to manage.
02What is the minimum order for each program?
Bulk Roasted starts at 100 kg, with 250 kg positioned as the standard commercial order, packed in 5 kg vacuum bricks. Private Label starts at 500 kg per SKU for custom printed retail bags. Confirmed pricing and production terms are provided after reviewing your product brief, target market and destination.
03Can I choose single-origin coffee or a custom blend?
Yes. We develop single-origin products and custom blends depending on your target profile, market, availability, volume and commercial requirements. The Market Guide you receive first helps you position that choice against what your segment actually pays for.
04How do I order samples before committing to production?
We recommend starting with a sample development process before a production run. Initial roasted sample development typically takes 7 to 14 business days. The sample path and associated costs are confirmed based on your target profile, program type and market.
05How long does production take?
Printed-bag production takes 20 to 30 business days after artwork approval. Production roasting and packing takes 10 to 15 business days after materials and specifications are confirmed. Final timing depends on coffee selection, artwork, format, volume and production scheduling.
06What is the shelf life of vacuum-packed roasted coffee?
Shelf life is established according to the final packaging system, product specification and storage conditions. It is confirmed in the technical specification for each product and is never presented as a blanket freshness guarantee.
07Can we use our own packaging design?
Yes. You provide the final approved artwork and label content. Cafesure manufactures according to the approved files and specifications. Your team should verify all applicable U.S. labeling requirements and product claims before printing.
08Who is responsible for importing the coffee into the United States?
Under the working model, the U.S. buyer acts as the Importer of Record and is responsible for applicable import procedures, broker coordination, FSVP obligations, Prior Notice and final label approval unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.
